Eagles cut Hugh Douglas the other day, if I am not mistaken he is a Pro Bowl defensive end. I know we drafted TJ to rejuvinate our line, but with both Walker and Payne past their primes and recovering from injury, I think it could definatley be worth makeing a offer as long as it is not obsence. :fishing:

Wondering what you guys thought about Douglas and if he is worth looking into.

I can't even see what you said about Hugh Douglas but... I can tell you right now that my answer is NO.

And now that I can see what you wrote my answer is, predictably, NO.

Douglas was a probowl player the first time Philly cut him. Didn't do well in J'ville the next year, then didn't do well when he returned to Philly - both of those d-lines rank towards the top of league. Don't see it happening...

He has the potential to get his game back and do something for a mediocre team like us...I'd like for us to look into it.
