I have seen people mention this on here and wanted to figure it out. Can anyone do it? How does it work, does it void the original ticket when the electronic version is sent?

you have to be the official ticket holder. I am also thinking you have to be a season ticket holder. Not sure on that. And YES it does void the original ticket barcode when you email them. It warns you during the email process of that fact.

here is how you get it done though.

    1) go to HoustonTexans.com and get into your ticket account. You need a password and username/email. This is why I am pretty sure you have to be a season ticket holder to do this.

    2) pull up your season tickets.

    3) choose the one game you would like to email

    4) pick the email tickets option

    5) email them with a few clicks. It does cost you a couple of dollars to do this, and it is actually done through Ticketmaster.

I have done this a couple of times for last minute games I couldn't make it to. The receiving party prints the tickets out and attends the game.

once your get into your ticket account on Houstontexans.com, the rest is pretty much point and click your way through it.

Cool, thanks, sounds pretty simple. How much is a couple of bucks, like less than 5?

I have purchased tickets before and there was a $4.95 charge for the sending of tickets to me. Something to that effect.
