Wonder if there are any after-the-fact Eagles fines coming up.
Geez, i wish the fines were off of a percent of the players annual salary in due with their contract.
UDFA Salary is alot of money but not alot to keep paying $25k Fines and the Such.
I for one am tired of all the fines the NFL is putting out there.they are going overboard.might as well play flag football.
For impersonating a defensive back?
This just in
NEW YORK (AP) The Houston Texans were fined by the National Football League for allowing the same defensive staff and players to continue embarrass themselves, the team, and their fans. Word is, a grass roots campaign has been started by the other teams in the AFC south to collect donations in order to pay this and future fines.
How about the Houston Texans management fined $1 million
for imposing an inferior product upon a defenseless fan base?
What does the NFL do with all this money?
parties with beer and hookers?
It goes toward different charities iirc.
So how much will the Eagles receiver who blasted Pollard when he was in a defenseless position (attempting the INT) be fined?
They claim it goes to charity but there is no definitive source that I know of.
I support this!!
My guess would be $5,000 (assuming this is Celek's first offense,) but since it's Pollard who was in a defenseless position they'll find a way to ignore it.
Rep your way! Well done!!!
absolute BS!!!!!! There was nothing wrong with that hit.
I want an NFL job

Maybe they should use the fine money to help out the older retired players - especially the ones that used to spear folks. There's some sweet irony there.
They should set aside a bank account for each team and put the fines of each team into that account. At the end of the season, if the teams does not make the playoffs, the NFL should return it to the team with the expressed purpose of dividing that money among the season ticket holders.
