I dont think its lack of ability and I also understand we are not going to win all of our games (looking like not even half or 1 for that matter) but it just looks like we over think ourselves with the play calling and our nerves on the offenses end.

Our defense wasnt perfect but I can definitly live with that kind of performace effort wise. It wasnt even so my that we may have caused the problems the titans did have but our D capitalized on them. (plays like the reeves interception or our effort from our goal line D) Our pass protection wasnt perfect but gave more then enough time on most plays.

To ME, we need a better push on the line and a bigger hole for rushing. Slaton did GREAT but I have to say in MY opinion, he made something out of nothing alot of the time. The long 50 yarder, he was suppose to have been tackled in the backfield. They definitly got a hold of him but because of his own effort it went as far as it did.

We are ALL suprised by the drops from Johnson and and Walter but I CAN say atleast 1 of those to Johnson was rushed. Also, thats not going to happen every week... so I think.

Shaub... Without cursing I will simply say:
Has BAD nerves. doesnt lok like he can hande pressure AT ALL. Thats not to say he's not capable of making throws but what did he think was going to happen... your playing against a team thats doesnt want you to complete your pass or get the pass out for that matter. AND IS IT JUST ME OR DOES EVERY BALL HAVE AIR UNDERNEATH IT. I swear, when he goes for a long bomb I always hold my breath because I cant see when its going down and whos hands its going to land it. I understand some plays need touch but wheres the zip.

So... thats all I can think of. O I KNOW theres more but not wasnting anymore time on this one. I would like some feedback guys. Do you agree, did I miss something, do you disagree... whats

I think the problem that most have is that the things you are complaining about are things that have been wrong with this franchise for years now.

    Not enough pass rush
    Inconsistent run blocking
    Poor OL play

Sound familiar? You could post those in any of the years of this frnachise's history and find plenty of people who agree with you

Its not "chocking" (:)) if you are the worse team

we didn't choke or chock...this team just isn't very good and there are a number of reasons why. Too many to list right now but I'm sure I'll get into them soonish.

To choke or chock, one would have to assume we were going to win the game to begin with. Being the dog, I don't think it's fair to assume we choked.

for what it's worth at some point in the game there was this shifty "tricky, tricky, Texans" package.. misdirections.. play action... neat plays, drawn up really well.. but you guys may not want to hear this but not enough pass rush, inconsistent run blocking, and poor OL play are part of it, sure, but Kubiak coaches like he's playing Madden 09... not going to drill it to death, but seriously, that guy made some really questionable decisions and I don't even know how many points the Texans left on the field for it.

I'll start the list for ya ....

OLB Our OLB's are Slow to the ball and probably the biggest weakness on that side of the ball.

DE opposite MW , we have seen almost zero production from anyone opposite MW. Shoring up that position with a guy capable pf creating some chaos will stop teams from doubling MW as much.

Center . Yep , the teams the Texans have played so far have some very good DT's but thats no excuse for the play we have seen at the C thus far. I was reminded on several occasions over the past two games of years gone by with McKinney at center.

FS .... we dont have a FS , we have two SS. This position in conjunction with the lack of speed at OLB may be the root cause of this teams defensive issues. Neither position seems to be able to "Make a play" they just slow teams down rather than STOP them.

While I do agree with some of your points, the defense still gave the offense plenty of opportunities to score.

IMO, this shitty game belongs to the offense and it's coaches.

That said, our defense is mediocre at best. I mean, whotf would have their best defensive weapon drop back in coverage on third down?? That's just down right mind boggling!

I didn't notice that watching the game, but that is very dumb...

I can't imagine Mario was too happy or thrilled about that when Demeco called out the assignments for that play...

    Mario: "You said do what?!"

If we would have gotten an interception, we would have been going "Great!"

on a serious note, I was shocked to see that, I mean if we could generate a pass rush without Mario, I could see it but we still can't get it going
