Too bad the article didn't mention how he felt the next evening. If I remember correctly, the AFC Championship game didn't start until around 6:30 PM on Sunday.

I believe he stuck with the Cadillac SUV, and donated it to his former High School! At least that is what I heard.

Wouldn't it be better to tell GM to hold off on the SUV and just have them donate $70K to his school? Or does his school plan on having the most expensive Driver's Ed vehicle in the country? :)

In High School, College and in professional football, Tom Brady has been an arrogant superstar. I have respect for his QB abilities but wonder why he wasn't recruited by the big California colleges.

I understand that he is coached for which he has to say to the media.

His high school stats probably weren't that great; not all athletes develop at the same pace. Brady was a sixth round selection for the Patriots and didn't make great strides as a QB until he was in the NFL for a few years.

    For some historical perspective:

Joe Montana was a third round pick (for the Forty Niners); when he was drafted, almost nobody thought that he would become one of the NFL's greatest quarterbacks.

Tom Brady's choice was between Cal and Michigan. I went to school with his older sisters and they were great athletes, but females sports did not go past college 12 years ago. Brady did not start playing organized football until he got to high school (his parents did not let him, before then). From the people that I know that grew up with Tom Brady, they are still in shock that he is where he is today, because from what I understand, he was a short fat kid that walked funny! He went to the same high school as Lynn Swann, John Robinson, Greg Jeffries, Jim Fregosi, Barry Bonds, and some other great athletes! That is why he probably got any recognition at all!
