That we play our best football at the end of the season? I know this year has been a little bit of an exception, but in the past three weeks we have been in great position to win the game, being up by 21 to St. Louis, we kicked the feild goal to take the lead in the final 2 minutes in Baltimore, and had a chance to go into overtime last week, and in a good situation to win this game today.

Now think back to last year, when we beat Chicago, totally shocked the to-be playoff bound Jags, beat Tennesse.

Is it are schedule is always easier at the end of the year, or maybe we just do play our best games at the end of the year? Hey at least we not like the Vikings or Dolphins who are known to lose games to take them out of the playoffs in December.

In the last couple of years the Texans have had these little "feel good" runs at the end of the season. In the first two years they didn't do that. They staggered into the last game just trying to catch their breath and not look too bad against better teams. That was both a result of scheduling (we finished against some tough teams) and as a result of our own pitiful roster.

In 2004 and now in 2005 we're finishing against some cream puffs. Nobody could possibly mistake a win against Chicago last year or Jacksonville (Hey, against us they always play bad) to mean anything. We even blew our easy game against the Browns.

This year we're closing against a lousy Rams team (L), a lousy Titans team (L), a lousy Ravens team (L), a truly crummy Cardinals team (W), and then Jacksonville (Cursed to always play badly against the Texans) and San Francisco (Maybe as bad as we are).

We don't play better as the season progresses. The competition gets worse.

Yeah, then laid an egg against Cleveland. :brickwall

This team stinks. We just played a team that's in worse condition than us today. Major overhaul still required.

But I'm glad we played to win today. We had a lot of fun in spite of it. ;)

Hope we bring it to the Jaguars next Saturday and knock 'em out of the playoffs. :texflag:
