As a native Missourian and fan of the universitys football team, I'm pleased to report they are the only unbeaten team in the entire Big 12 at 5-0.
And they are presently beating the crap out of Texas Tech, with a 24-0 lead
in the 2nd quarter. At Lubbock ! Read it and weep Red Raiders !

I'm from St. Joseph, which is about 50 clicks up I-29 from KC in
    northwestern MO.
Tigers now 6-0, first time in 'bout 3 decades they've started that well.

I've been watching them this year mainly because of all the Texas talent on their roster.

Chase Daniel (SLC) has looked great as a Sophomore. Then there's Marcus Bacon from Cy Springs, Mike Cook from Clear Brook, Jared Perry and Dominique Johnson from LaMarque, and Kevin Rutland from North Shore to name a few locals on that team...

I've always liked Mizzou because their fan base has a really good sense of humor. Hopefully they'll be undefeated when they play Texas in the Big12 Championship game. ;)

I dunno, but its amazing how many colleges come down to Texas to raid the
enormous pool of scholastic football talent this state produces every year.
Of course everyone in the Big 12 including the most far flung locations from
Texas like MO, as you say AJ, and NE and CO regular recruit here, and they recruit with success.

    I count 21 Texans on Mizzou's roster !
Word of that get around, gonna start a war for Texas HS players between
    Mizzou & Oklahoma.

I wish Tech and A&M did a better job of recruiting these guys. (I am omitting Texas because Mack Brown has made a point to recruit from the home state, and his record shows he is doing well.) Why isn't Chase Daniels lining up at QB in College Station?

I asked that also. The McNeal upset of OU was very nice a couple of seasons ago. But passing on a kid rabid to go there, Drew Tate, Iowa, and a kid who but by the grace of the God, who is a Katy fan, would of went 30-0, Chase Dainels. I guess they got their system and they're sticking to it. If your under six foot, you need not apply. Might work out for them they're 5-0...With Missou coming in. Gonna be fun. Gig'em.
