Very versatile. So far he has appeared in 3 games. However, I believe it was mostlyly ST's with only a handful of WR appearances. He has no receiver stats. If we go on an all out aerial attack, we could see more of him. He also has the ability to spell JJ on PR if need be.

Glenn Martinez's versatility helps earn spot on Houston Texans roster

He really has been contributing to ST. His biggest game was againist the Titans. He made several tackles on ST and made a block that helped Matt throw a 72 yard pass to Dre...

Martinez has definitely been showing up on ST. It seems they call his name on almost every ST play. Good pick up for the team.

I caught that, too. He's actually inactive today.

Sorry, I accidentally left the link out.

Not to upset his rabid fan club, but David Anderson's contributions on 3rd down seem to be outweighed by Martinez's special teams ability and versatility. I still don't get the David Anderson love, especially from Kubiak.

I haven't seen him drop too many passes thrown his way. I tried to look at NFL.com to see if they would state how many passes were thrown to Anderson but it doesn't state that. Just receptions.

We also like his intensity. He's good for the locker room.

As for the inactives... I'm glad to see Roy Williams and Brian Leonard on the inactives list.
