On Sunday, October 14th at 12 noon, the Buffalo Bills come to town to take on our Houston Texans at NRG Stadium. The game will be aired on TV on CBS 11 and on radio on SportsTalk 610 AM. The offense of the Bills is the worst in the league. Their defense isn't much better. This is a game set up to get Watson, Hopkins, Fuller, Coutee and the rest of the Texans offense on track to be what we all envisioned at the beginning of the season. These are the 2 teams. Your Houston Texans... No real receiving threat, no real tight end threat and Josh Allen as their quarterback. There isn't much to worry about with the Bills offense. They are 32nd in the league in points scored at 12.6 and 31st in the league with a paltry 221.2 yards of total offense per game. Going against an improving Texans defense that only gave up 292 yards of total offense against the Cowboys last week is going to be too much of a challenge for the Bills offense to over come. Now turn to the Texans offense. So far this year, the Texans offense has generated 423.4 yards of total offense per game. They can move the ball. The problem is, they've only been able to get 23 points per game. The Red Zone is the issue. The Texans can move the ball up and down the field, they just haven't been able to get the ball in the end zone. This week, that will change. So far we have been seeing improvement week to week in the Texans offense culminating in the past 2 weeks over time victories. We will see Watson, Hopkins, Fuller and Coutee come together this week and change everything. Miller will be back as well to help out. This will be a break out game for Watson and the boys. Texans 34 Bills 10
You are really optimistic about the Texans offense going against the 10th ranked defense when there is a solid chance Deshuan doesn't play this week
We should all just get used to Watson being on the injured list a lot. Between him having a crappy line and insisting on taking on heavy LBs for that extra yard, he's not gonna be the healthiest of QBs this season.
Yea he needs to get passed the hero ball, it might help us win a game here and there, but it will hurt us in more games if it cost him being on the field. PatdStat did a good job showing on 2 of his runs for the pylon he actually had 1 of our rookie TEs out there as a lead blocker(Thomas when he went right, Akins when he went left) he pointed out to get them to turn and block, they both looked like they hesitated a step or two not knowing if they were suppose to block, or find open space. Both instances if they got their blocks could have lead to a touchdown(the one to the right I am almost certain would've been a TD, the one to the left I think he still gets a lick but wouldn't have been as bad as what he ended up taking) However you have to give a world of credit to Jaylon Smith, that kid was flying everywhere like he did for ND before he took the cheap shot from OSU that almost costed him a career. There are not many backers in the league that have that kind of athleticism, and hopefully it showed Watson he isn't always going to get the corner.
Watson should calm down with the heroics until they hire a new HC and OC next season that knows how to draw up plays that work and knows how to coach a qb sneak.
It's more being optimistic about the worst offense in the league of the Bills going against the 12 ranked defense of the Texans. That won't play out well for the Bills. As far as Watson not playing? Haven't heard that. He has a bruised lung. That's a painful injury, but there is no one saying that Watson is out or not playing. They'll limit his practice a few days and he'll be fine. So, we'll have to take that at face value and say he is playing. With that said, here at home, just watch Watson and the boys finally open it up. It's coming. Just get ready.
Well Texans have officially said he is day to day with a chest injury, We know he was being check on the sidelines with a stethoscope to his lower side/back area which tells us they are worried about a punctured lung, or serious lung contusion which would force him out this game. Probably the most damning evidence of all though is what Vegas odds makers have done, we have gone from being 8 pt favorites to 1 pt favorites on a few books, the other books pulled it completely. Vegas has insiders in every organization, if they think something is up, something is up
Jesus Christ if they actually do that everyone's gonna have a heart attack! Some things are just not meant to be relived.
Time to bust out the weed man. Play that buffalo D if the weed man is playing. Didn't this buffalo team ***** slap the Vikings in Minnesota Swear they just clowned those mighty titans. This has Eli and the giants written all over it. Who's that rookie QB they got? Might have to play him if Watson sits
Buffalo out physicaled the Titans. Dont think this will be a cake walk. If we aint ready to fight they will mash us. I think we can shut down a run if committed and their QB aint ready for NFL defenses, but dont sleep on this team. They play hard
We are gonna have to mash and bang with all teams for some time; positive thing maybe is this team has played with injured players. I wish our medical teams were an advantage versus other medical teams. We are not very good right now but neither is Buffalo. I wish our by week was after Bills game. Hope Cowboys are more into bounce back than Jags. If hopes and wishes were fishes I could feed 5,000
Texans win this one assuming Watson is ready to play, but it won't be a pushover. Mind you I said is ready to play, not plays.
I thought we were over it already? Frank Reich paid us back the previous week. By gifting us that win and not playing for a tie. LOL And that has sparked our current winning streak.
I have the Texans beating the Bills, 30-12. We'll win three games in a row. Back to .500 at 3-3 That will make the game at Jacksonville very interesting! We may be playing for first place in the AFC South soon. And oh yeah, I was told Deshaun Watson "will play" on Sunday. He's just going to take it easy this week in practice. Don't worry. Deshaun is all smiles and bowling right now. Doesn't look hurt at all.
