Brent Grimes ATL CB had a nice game he got beat in the corner by Jones but was in great position on that play. This kid could be a good option for the Texans if they cant land Bailey or Asomugha.

cherrypicking that list (being somewhat realistic): culllen jenkins, david harris, melvin bullitt & grimes would be my favourites

Until the new CBA comes out, we will not know who is really a free agent and who is not. It is possible that whatever agreement is hammered out changes the definition and structure of free agency.

After I saw him play yesterday, put Ike Taylor in a Texan uniform with another FA DT or CB like Chris Carr and I will be happy with our FA pickups.

Give me the following listed below in free agency due to the fact that they all have experience in a 3-4 defense and 2 of them will be costly and the other 2 will be affordable. Then we can draft the best available player at #11 and still target a NT in the 2nd or 3rd of the draft since there are none worthy of a 1st round pick this season. We could target an OLB like Von Miller if he falls to #11 or a WR like Julio Jones to go opposite Andre to tighten up the wr corps and then continue to strengthen the defense with the remaining picks. OLB- Brian Cushing is going to thrive in a 3-4 with Barwin coming back to compete for spot opposite the question will be if we need a guy like Von Miller at #11 will do we go 3-4 DE at this spot if we get LaMarr Woodley or WR?

    1. CB - Antonio Cromartie (NYJ)
    2. S- Dawan Landry (BAL)
    3. 3-4 OLB LaMarr Woodley (PIT)
    4. ILB - Tavares Gooden (BAL)

    Draft Choices:

    Rd 1. 3-4 DE - Marcel Dareus - Alabama - 6' 3" 305
    Rd. 2 WR - Leonard Hankerson - Miami - 6'3" 205
    Rd. 3 DT - Phil Taylor - Baylor - 6'4" 335
    RD. 4 ILB - Colin Mccarthy - Miami - 6'2 240
    RD. 5 S - Ahmad Black - Florida - 5' 10 190

Either Holmes or Edwards would be a huge pick-up next to AJ.

Cromartie's attitude would also do wonders for the defense

I think we really need a speedster next to Andre. So, I'd definitely prefer Holmes or a trade for a Steve Smith (CAR) type.

It was a while back, maybe a week or 2 ago.

I'm not digging through all of those tweets, but it's there if you want to search yourself.

That would be a real good signing. He's got knowledge of that defense, and is a veteran. However, what I like the most is his consistent career. We need to get consistent guys if we want to be a consistent defense or team.

Aaron Smith's not a FA, but is going into his final year. Ziggy Hood has done great in Smith's spot while he's been recovering from a torn triceps. Maybe he'd be somebody we could look at making a deal for?
