    This.

Turk did his part. Had the Titans pinned deep multiple times.

    Kris Brown just fails.

I still say Graham Gano is a good cheap young kicker

The Colts got rid of Vanderjagt for the same reason we are thinking of
getting rid of Brown. Brown was o.k., but when the pressure's on he's
got the yips. I thought he would be OUR Morten Anderson. I was wrong.

I'd rather just go for it on 4th and long than waste a kick from Brown. That was one of the worst shanks I've ever seen. He is horrible this year

Yeah i dont know why some people have come in defense of Kris Brown this year. He was pretty good his career here in Houston, but this year he has been absolutley terrible. He had kick that was blocked in the INDY game before the half, luckily enough Jim Caldwell called a timeout, and it backfired on him..

To make a long story short.......The Texans can no longer trust Kris Brown.

Every other team cuts kickers when they go Lidge and just pick up the next chump off the scrap heap. If they can't hit 'em, then pick up the next guy.

This has gotta be the only team that has a kicker with a retirement plan.

To me there is nothing sadder than watching a washed up athlete that doesn't know it is over.

The worst was the shank against the 49ers in '05 that ensured us the 1st pick.

lol. I always enjoy a Howfield reference... Man, what that a crappy kicker, not even worthy of a Ray Finkle comparison. I still love the joke about Howfield trying to commit suicide and not being able to kick the chair out from under him.

Sandro D'Angelis. He is just freshly a free agent from my CFL team, and he is the all-time most accurate kicker in the CFL. I'm not sure if he can be signed right away or not but it might be worth a look.

Kickers miss kicks. It just happens and it happens on teams that win. It's just that teams that win more don't put the game in the kickers hands as much.
