they're right. he's unproven.
Are you looking to start internet drama? You can't qoute something like that on this site, its suicidal! You better go find who wrote that and get David Carr ranked, and make sure its below Shaub, 64th would be good enough to save you.
I'm kind of surprised how highly ranked they have the Chiefs. I know Huard did well while a starter, but dang.
Come on Fox. Couldn't you have held to your usual standards and thrown in how bad he will do behind the O-line we have. What happened to toeing the company line
Yeah, Schaub is unproven, but we can still be optimistic about him as Texans fans. I've always hoped for improvement every year, regardless of who is on the team, and this year will be no different.
What we have to look at in Schaub are those so-called....*cough*...*hack*...*wheeze*....'intangibles'. He appears to have a good grasp of Kubiak's schemes, and is able to help the offense as a whole with that understanding. Nobody should leave the huddle with a question mark about their assignment, and from all accounts, Schaub knows each positions' responsibilities.
His work ethic is not in question. He's first in/last out every day, works extra practice with his receivers, and from what I've read, has a devotion to film study.
His mechanics seem tight, in that he has a good, quick release and appears to make his progressions. Of course, actual game time will be the true test, so time will tell.
Yet again another writer who says one thing about one QB but the complete opposite about another. Yes Schaub is an unknown and I can understand a low ranking, but so is Brodie Croyle, he was not the one doing the passing last year that damn Huard. So why would you rank them so desparnagingly apart? All I have ever asked is consistancy, but alas my fellow football fans that is out of the equation because it would actually make sense.
I am curious about the chiefs being ranked so high. Damon Huward was efficient but not superb in what needed to be done. Croyle is just as much an unknown as Schaub.
I still love how Cutler did very well in his starts in Denver but doesn't get the love this writer shows for Leinart and Young. He'll have a better career then both in Denver.
Love also how the Jags QB situation is about solid as the Bears. Gary Coleman i mean Leftwhich willl be at the helm again.
Perhaps the most interesting thing will be seeing where Culpepper lands. If Chicago lands him things could be VERY interesting in the NFC.
This will just makes us look that much better when Shaub leads us to our first winning season. They'll be a lot of crow to serve.
that's all you will get out of the media at this point. A 9-7 season or better will definitely shut 'em up.
Could have been worse...could have been 32
Yeah, just give Matt a little time, but damn-someone finally got some stuff about Carr right!!
Hi hopes maybe!!!! Thank Cheifs gona win so everone can blame Carr?
