This is pathetic
This is nothing new, most football players can't spell football.
Not news to me. Even as a Texas fan, I cringed every time Vince Young or Jamaal Charles got interviewed.
If you are good enough at sports people will open doors for you that should have been kept closed.
pathetic? they're just not very smart. luckily they have football so they can make a life for themselves that they wouldn't have otherwise.
What's pathetic is all those free college educations being wasted on athletes when their are lots of intelligent guys who don't get a college education because of the cost.
Not surprising at all. I'd bet that a lot of football players quit reading in high school, maybe even in middle school. A lot of them have one dream and that is the NFL.
There are some good student athletes on the football team. Myron Rolle earned the Rhodes scholarship, and Christian Ponder graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Finance and Real Estate degree in 2.5 years. From what I understand, he has a 4.0 so far in the MBA program.
Pathetic that its allowed to happen, pathetic that they are at that level. So yeah, pathetic.
Separate names with a comma.
