I haven't been to a Texans game in about 5 years, and never tailgated one. Is there anything I need to know? I was 8 years old the last time Houston had a home playoff game, and my dad and I have been rabid fans ever since we got the team. I bought tickets for us, and now we want to make a day of it, catch a nice buzz, and be rowdy as all get out for the game.

So please, Texans tailgate nation, instruct me.

What lot are you going to park in? If you are in Blue or Platinum see the Blue Crew. If you are in Yellow check out Texan Liberty Tailgaters and TexanMojo/Preacher/Beer 30. If you are in orange, I am sure Hobie and a few others can give you specifics.

You sir, are in good hands no matter which lot you are in. You can bring your own food, drinks, etc. and cook out or walk around and join in with almost anyone. We are ALL TEXANS!!! It's a block party type atmosphere but only better.

I only know Orange and Blue/Platinum. Hobie and a couple others here might be able to give you the low down! You can't go wrong though, by just throwing down in your spot and mingling around, or take a walk, there are bound to be some good set ups over there too, I have heard of a few but can't remember the specifics.
