Who is your favorite on this team? I guess you could also list former players on Texans. Focus on competitiveness rather than skills or position. This is tough for me as Andre Johnson, DROB (who got me to thinking on this) & Demeco come to mind. What about Zach Diles coming from the 7th round to possible starter after one season? Mark Breuner who continues to make team? Your thoughts?

Andre Johnson is the man, and Dunta Robinson is a baller plain and simple.

DeMeco Ryans, Mario Williams and Amobi Okoye are the next generation of great Texans.

Yes they do and I forgot about Bennett, he's a very fiery competitor too.:fans:

I like Schaub's attitude as well, when he first got here he said...

    I love that attitude.

He may not be my favorite player or a very popular player, but he brings his dadgum lunch pail to work on gameday.

Vonta Leach....he had a few awesome games this year and he probably would've stood out a bit more if it weren't for Fatty at RB. I just hope we continue to utilize the FB this season.

Owen Daniels....he would've been my number one if it weren't for the fumbles. IMO, he's still one of the best at the position and a true workhorse.

Kevin Walter.....the dudes a competitor through and through.

I never saw that comment from Schaub before. Pretty impressive.

If we can go back in time, then my vote is for Jamie Sharper. That dude was a monster in the middle. In his nine year NFL career, Sharper didn't miss a single game until his final season. 164 tackles in 2003 - that's gettin after it.

164... man, that's just a ridiculous number. I always liked him and K. Wong.

As for the current roster, Mario is my guy. I just love how he's overcome all the BS with Reggie Metcalf and VY, and is now about to become an elite NFL talent... yet not ONCE has he said 'I told you so' or expressed any sort of disdain for the fans and observers who dogged him.

    2008 - 19 sacks. Go Mario.

Gotta go with the hometown guy

    Tim Bulman's my guy...

Anthony Weaver has a pub in Boston according to my aunt that lives there but the guy hasn't produced and is sucking money out of the FO's checkbook.
