Drink up yall, its the Texans!
OK here's my team with the average points the player has made for me.

QB - Tony Romo 24.5 pts
QB - Curt Warner 22.3
RB - Steve Slaton 16.0
RB - Clinton Portis 19.6
RB - Michael Turner 18.0
WR - Bernard Berrian 11.1
WR - Santonio Holmes 9.2
WR - Donald Driver 8.8
WR - Owen Daniels 8.4
Extra Player - Jeff Garcia 15.3

In my league you must keep a certain number of players at each position plus you get one free play for any position. Well as you can tell, I'm strong on QB and RB and week at WR. My best receiver, Nate Burleson, went down in week 1. I was shopping around Slaton and one of the guys contact me about trading Romo for Greg Jennings WR Green Bay who generates 16.8 pts per game or Lee Evans WR Buffalo who generates 13.2 pts per game.

Tony's been up and down all year, and while he averages more the Curt in total, Curts' usually my starter due to his steady number. I'd like to make the trade but my fear is that the Cardinals won't protect well enough to keep Curt upright and he'll get injured.

The playoffs are in weeks 14 and 15. I'm currently tied for 1st with 4 other teams in my division with a 4-2 record. Given the other divisions' record 3 of us should make the playoffs.

Other free agent QBs include M. Ryan, D. Gerrard, G. Frerotte, T. Edwards

Would you make the trade for Jennings or Evans or not at all?

Jennings is a beast and I would definitely consider the trade. My main concern would be, like you said, Warner staying healthy. He hasn't played 16 games since 2001.

One thing I would add is that Dallas has a very tough schedule in your fantasy playoffs. Plus I would be at least a little worried about the broken finger.

If this trade is being offered to you after Romo broke the pinkie, then I'd definitely trade Romo for Jennings. No telling how Romo will be able to play down the strech if he doesn't let the finger heal or takes another blow to it. You're worried about Warner staying healthy but Romo isn't exactly healthy now, so Jennings is probably worth it.

Pick up Pennington

I would make that trade. I recently traded Portis for Jennings because I was strong at RB but weak at WR. I haven't regret it yet.

QB's are worth more than WR's bottom line. But If you have a QB that you feel will get you roughly the same points and can get Jennings out of it, I say do it.

Romo might explode with points now that he has Roy Williams, but I think Kurt has been pretty darn good as long as he can fight off Matt L.

I really didnt answer your question.

I would make the trade. Jennings is a #1 WR. Kurt and Romo are #1 QB's. Pull the trigger. So what if Romo got another WR. He has been so-so so far.
