    1st Quarter: 2-1-IND 12 (11:38) PENALTY on HOU-58-M.Flanagan, False Start, 5 yards, enforced at IND 12 - No Play.

How in the hell does the center get a false start penalty? It was weird, because he jumped like he was trying to get an early start, but he's the snapper! How do you jump the snap when you're the center?

Just indicative of today's game, but I'm not sure I've seen that happen in recent memory. I was just curious if anyone else caught it.

Maybe when every offensive lineman jumps except the center, it's a false start on the center? That would sort-a make sense considering that the center would have obviously forgot the snap count.

agreed. same with the fumbled exchnge with the QB...out of hand, the center get it up there, it's the QB's fault. Three or four guys going or flinch, that one is always on the center.

I found it very odd too they did not throw the flag until Indy players were pointing at him.
