wanna bet ESPN's source is John "never right" McClain who weeks ago said everybody goes and Dan Reeves is GM/HC. Now saying Capers goes and Casserly stays. John please sober up before calling and claiming inside sources..besides little voices in your head :brickwall

I agree that ESPN's source was probably McClain (on Casserly - obviously Chris Mortensen had the Capers news this morning), but I think that McClain's earlier asssertions about Reeves were based more on bitterness than anything. That was his speculation entirely.

The Casserly story is actually being presented as news with sources and everything, so I tend to give that more weight than McClain's earlier angry speculation.

HAve we ever, in our history, had what you would call a "good draft"? I guess our second one when we got AJ and DD, but it seemes that man can do nothing with a 2nd and 3rd round pick!!! Gaff or Portis, who ya got? P-Buch (2nd and 3rd) or Odell Thurman cough cough.... cursing missed opporunities. While we are at it, Greenwood or Andra Davis? Both were free agents last year, we gave Morlon $25M...

Also, the timing to this story obviously gives it more credibility. This would be the week that Reeves would have given McNair his report on the "State of the Texans". It's all coming down tomorrow. We'll know for sure by this time tomorrow.
