I would love to find out the terms of this contract after he turned down our offer last year.

I bet it's somewhere in the range of 32-35 mill...why anyone would throw that kind of money at Dunta i don't know.

I heard it contains a clause that allows the team to cut him without pay, if he writes anything on his uniform. :kitten:

Man, I wish we played the NFC South next season. AJ would have a field day against this fool.

6 years, I'm guessing somewhere around 50 mil, probably front-loaded with around 30 mil guaranteed.

Just a shot in the dark though.

This is the sort of deal Capers would have done.

What a horrible mistake by the Falcons.

That'd move his overall to around 45-50 mil?

27 Mil...... man the league needs to start some serious front office drug testing. Between the Falcons with Dumbta and Chicago giving an over 30 DE a 6 year deal with 40+ mil guaranteed ... there must be some sort of serious drug issues.

I'm pretty sure he turned down the same numbers the Chris Gamble got in Carolina.

He is now (allegedly) the 2nd highest paid CB in the NFL, behind Nnamdi Asomugha. He even makes more than Darrelle Revis right now lol. This is the exact reason we let him walk. He is a top 25 CB in the league, not top 5.
