I always thought that Dunta and Vilma should have shared that other DROY award but they gave it to Vilma because his team made the playoffs. But when you look at it Dunta outplayed a majority of the veteran starting CBs in this league and he is only a rookie. Thats saying alot, especially when most so called experts thought DeAngelo Hall was gonna have the greater impact between the two rookie CBs.

Eh, not a fair comparision for D-Hall... he was out for half the season with a bad hip anyways.

But who cares about D-Hall anyways? Dunta finally gets some props.

Dunta Robinson is named NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, by the Pro Football Weekly publication. How many times did he have to lobby for himself and get no recognition. I love Vilma, and he'll be a great middle linebacker and leader for years, but D-Robber is on an "island" and plays no tougher position in the NFL, man to man, vs. the best athletes in the league. It's about time some one recognized and game him some love!!! :whew
