Duane Brown's left ankle was getting iced. He was carted to Reliant Stadium for x rays.

Listening to 610 this morning and heard that as well. No need to panic yet but obviously not happy about it.

I think the word "carted" is always a reason to panic...

and it is now misleading...most players with any sort of injury in these practices gets carted off even shoulder/arm things.

Optimistically speaking, we are getting all our injuries out of the way so we can have an injury free season. Of course as fans, we do not know what that is.

He walked off the field without a limp right in front of where I was standing. Definitely wasn't carted off the field.

Thank you Sir for the clarification ! That's a relief. Yes, "carted off the field" and Duane Brown are 2 things a Texans fan never wants to see used together in the same sentence.

I expect he rode a cart over to Reliant for xrays. We pretty much saw the whole thing. Brown came off the field and laid down in the endzone area. Got up, limped back and forth for a bit. Held his ankle, then after a bit walked off - without a limp.

It was hot as hell out there. I bailed at 9 am, we were standing directly in the sun between the two fields.

He was carted to Reliant. Not off the field. Heck, I wouldn't want to walk from the field to Reliant if I was healthy, much less with a tweaked ankle.

Let's just pray it isn't the infamous "high ankle sprain".

And, Glasshalffull is a young lady. One of the nicest A&M fans I've met. Ha

Everyone keep your fingers crossed. It doesn't sound like it's bad, but just in case.

If its still attached, he will be fine. Duane's a tough guy, he could play with a broken arm and still be a top 5 tackle.

Take the overly protective route like they did with andre. He is our most needed linemen. With out him being healty you can count of matt schaubs season ending early too

This is getting less serious by the second. I hate the media.
