I saw on nfl.com that the draft is going to be on NFL network. Does this mean there will be no coverage of it on ESPN?

April 28th for those who didn't already know.

I don't know why people blame Time Warner. Time Warner wants to carry the NFL Network for free, the NFL Network wants you to pay an additional monthly fee. The NFL Network are the bastards in all this.

Its still gonna be on ESPN....but it would'nt surprise me if in another couple of years NFL network decides to make it exclusive....Way to stick it to the cable companies....:wild:

I don't know...but I highly doubt the NFL is going to keep the most popular draft event in all of sports under wraps. You guys need to get the dish and the ticket though. Nice this time of year when they rerun the games from last season. I'll bounce around between the two. Katy ISD recruiting day my wife has to scout out the teacher tallent....she's pissed. LOL. So I'll have to record day one for her. Kinda of funny they're just like the NFL clubs everybody tring to figgure out who has the best "tallent" as a new or young teacher. Schools hiding the best prospect from the other schools. Tring to steal girls from the other schools.
The stories she comes home with, they're funny. Cut throat recruiting.

    Actually you wrong on this.

NFL Network wants timewarner to have it part of the basic cable package and show it for free and yet pay NFL Network a set amount per tv subscription.

The reason timewarner has not been showing it, is because they would be getting seriously screwed on it and making nothing for it.

NFL Network, IMO, does a far better job of covering the draft.

Having said that, I do wish both networks, but especially ESPN, would concintrate on analysis of the picks, and of the needs of the teams both before the draft begins, and during the draft. I really don't need interviews with Head Coaches while the draft is going on.

    Just my :twocents:

I'll be watching it on NFL Network, just because I've never seen them cover it.

The ticket, 1310 am, here in Dallas is almost as good as ESPN radio's coverage both of which are better then the TV coverage. So I'll repeat hadaad, radio and laptop all teh way.

Yeah, I remember listening to them after I lost the ESPN feed. They were a little too hyped up about the Notre Dame tight end pick (Fasano?) but overall they were pretty solid.
