He's always so nonchalant, it makes me wonder, does he mind losing anymore? You can ruin a quarterback in many ways, but one way that is particularly harmful is making him learn to accept losing. Once Carr accepted losing, he never came back. In an interview after beating the Jags for the 1st time, Carr said it was weird because he didn't have to wake up and "pretend to be depressed" What!? Not to turn this into a "we should have/could have/would have" type thread, but there was a segment about another QB recently on the ESPN pregame report in which Keith bullocks said that VY was inconsolable after losing to the Colts. That he couldn't take losing anymore. Thats the kind of passion I'd love to have from a QB. Not a "this is my day job, its nothing personal" attitude. Carr may have all the talent in the world, but so does every NFL defensive player and they come with attitude and heart. I don't see that kind of dedication from a lot of members of our team anymore. And I think its because they've become so used to losing.
