I like my pants loose, but grow up. Seriously? What an embarrassment of an NFL player.

Skintight knew he could have 'off the field issues'. Now his #1 draft pick is in the mall with his pants on the ground. What an ambassador for the 'Boys. They are surely proud.

The baggy pants syndrome always reminds me of my kids when they wore diapers and had a load in them. I've never understand the point of it or the appeal of having your ass crack on display.

As far as Dez Bryant, he sounds like an egotistical a-hole. His attitude is everything wrong with many of today's entertainers.

I believe it has to do with the fact that you don't get to wear a belt in jail, and your pants frequently sag down because of it. Its like a toughness status symbol i guess.

The irony of course is that if your pants come down in jail, well, you know. :butterfly:

If you have to be told to pull your pants up.....

I mean, at Mardi Gras....where damn near anything goes....if you show your undergarments it takes about .4 seconds to have a trio of police on you, arresting you and reading you rights with a taser pointed at your neck and I am NOT kidding about that in any sense.

Since when does outrage become the response instead of flat embarassment? HEY MAN, I can see your underwear and I don't appreciate it, how 'bout ratcheting that shit up?!? I'd be like, damn, I just got served.

It was also a way to let everybody know in prison you like to ride the cotton pony or you just became someone's *****.

I teach high school and when I see this, I also say, "dude, is that a stain on your boxers?" once everybody turns to look, those pants can't get up fast enough.

what is really stupid looking is the skinny jeans that students sag with...

I can sort of understand why Bryant would be ticked. It used to irritate me to no end when clerks would follow me around in stores and ask me if I was going to buy something just because I had long hair and earrings etc.

That being said I'm not defending his reaction. He should have just calmly told the mall that he was going to take his multimillion dollar checking account somewhere else and then leave. They shouldn't have had to ban him. I wouldn't want to go there anyway.

It appears that he is taking kind of the opposite approach:

    LINK

(And should I read anything into the the fact that his "adviser" is a former bail bondsman?)

That is unequivocably the stupidest reason ever for the mall to let him come back there..

I think that is just examples of 2 dudes, not him.

I'm not really sure what to think of all of this. Obviously the guy needs to grow up alot. Multiple incidents at one mall is telling. He has to get past these minor things and be professional. Wake up dude or your gone and wasting talent.

But overall I'm kind of laughing at the media attention over droopy drawers. That whole trend is stupid but not criminal. Though I don't want to see crack.

On a side note I go to this mall all the time because my sister lives up the street in HP. It is a nice mall. But it isn't like an upscale palace where he can't go elsewhere. It is just more quaint with better places to eat. He can go to the Galleria.

This is funny. The retailers are upset. He buys and is fun

    This is funny.

A couple of years ago, I created a thread called, "Pull your damn pants up", when I saw this fool walking out of Frye's with his pants halfway down, and wondered why anyone would think that is somehow cool.

I got vilified six ways to Sunday for being a racist. So what changed? How is this different?

And I got a question for the droopy-drawered crowd. Do chicks actually dig that sort of thing?
