When its all said and Done he might be the best Linbacker to ever play in Houston including the Oilers, I have a feeling he's going to be special......

DeMeco is a good one, but he has a lot to prove before being called the greatest in Houston. IMO... Robert Brazile was the best linebacker we've ever had in this town. Al Smith would be a relatively close second, followed by Gregg Bingham. DeMeco's ceiling is unlimited.

Robert Brazile "Dr. Doom" was a great one as was "Iron Man" Greg Bingham! DeMeco will certainly rate up there with them provided he stays healthy. What a super draft pick he has turned out to be!!:yahoo:

At this point, I'd have to say Brazile at LB is the best we've had here. With probably Bethea (DL), Childress (DL), or Ken Houston (S) being the greatest defensive players we've had here. I'm hoping Demeco ends up in those ranks.

I dunno....Jamie Sharper was pretty good for us. DeMeco is playing well though.

Al Smith was probably our best MLB. I can see DeMeco being much better than him.

I really liked Lathon coming out of UH. If I remember correctly his best years were at Carolina.

Yes, he shined at Carolina (for a while). That guy could really get around for a big man.....He was very intimidating on the field.

I think Demeco is going to fill out over the next couple of years and will be delivering his message with a little more authority then, like Lamar used to do. Demeco is very, very good now....and will only get better. He was one hell of a find for the Texans.

You got me smile for a moment. Brazile, Bingham, Smith and Lathon. Brought back some of my momeries. DeMeco as a rookie, he is already compared with the above mentioned great LBs of Houston. Isn't it exciting? I am. And just think he only gets better with more experience.:yahoo:

    Go DeMeco!!
