That could be the least exciting nickname in the history of least exciting nicknames.

Why does everyone feel compelled to give a guy a nickname? It never works when you try and force it on someone. It has to be a natural fit... Such as Super Mario and Mario Williams. There are exceptions to every rule, but more often than not, forced nickames are lame. The "engineer" is no exception.

It also makes no sense.... you either gotta be the engineer who's technical, or the engineer who drives the choo-choo.... YOU CAN'T BE BOTH!

Unless you are the electrical engineer who also drives an electric train, it just makes no sense!

FACT and will be in a Texans Jersey for years to come. DeMeco has to be hands down the best drafted player in Texans short history so far.

"The Engineer" doesn't sound too intimidating. If he gets a nic, it should be fear inducing like The Shark or something.

I like the Engineer, he's the "Project Manager" of the defense. Now only if he had better employees.
