That's why Sanders shouldn't be doing commentary. It was horrible. I am not sure he or others understand that the Feds or any local force is there to fight crime. They investigated like they would a drug ring, porn ring...whatever. It's getting the attention due to Vick but that is his own damn fault. When a ring covers a multi-state area, then you have problems. I'm tired of people trying to put this to rest like some kids were forcing dogs to fight in a backyard or a culture thing. Deion defended him without defending him..pretty much called him naive and dumb but defended him.

Deion normally says some stupid things, but he did a good job with this. Let me start off by saying that "I am a dog lover", with that being said I really don't see the point of having the feds all over this case when there are a lot more important things they should be dealing with. As much as our society "loves" dogs you can still find those same people who hunt not only to eat, but for sport also..and lets not even talk about slaughter houses..........it comes down to perspective. Vick might view dogs as someone who's out hunting a wild hog

He's a horrible writer. It was hard to read, but I did it. Meh. He's trying to defend Vick in a different sort of manner it seems.

he's not trying to defend him...do you people actually read?, lol...he even said what he did was "horrible", but what he was saying is that Vick's view on dogs isn't the same as other people in our culture....and I do agree with that.

I r Deion. I wub Vick. My dogz r meen. Peepel > Dogz. I ware gold chainz. Vick iz vicktim. Joey sux. MySpace iz dum. Watch ur kidz on cumpooter.

I just wanted to paraphrase Sander's article. What a mental giant he is.....

My favorite part is how half of the article is about himself. What a ego freak. I didn't mind Deion during his time in the NFL but he has been a train wreck ever since his career ended. Now he is rationalizing Vick's behavior and portraying the guy as a victim. HAHAHAHAH. good one Deion.

Deion could be a tard on the field, but back it up on every single play. He does not have that luxury here as the brand continues to get sullied through Sanders' tacit Chewbacca defense.

If I were Goodell I would institute a complete gag rule for anyone who represents an interest in the NFL until Vick has his days in court.

Sanders is using the "moral relativism" argument (i.e. 'because some cultures condone behavior that we don't like, we have no right to condemn it').

However, the fact that Vick has allegedly committed several felonies supersedes the a/m moral relativist perspective.

Perhaps the most ignorant thing I have ever read.

    Deion, Deion, Deion....

Stop the insanity, Prime Time. I haven't see this much justifying and rationalizing and semantics since Clinton-Lewinski.

The Feds are "using" Vick to get to the ring leader? LOL. No, they are going to take down the HUGE Vick Family Dog Fighting Ring that sounds to be a pretty darn large ring itself. One at a time is OK with me, fwiw.

Too funny. Do agree half the article is about himself; classic primetime.

As for his defense of Vick...I know most of the Media is lampooning Vick and this case and a lot of people calling it DOA. I think some of the football players at least feel the need to at least defend a member of the NFL "elite" if you will. For his talk about Darrent Williams and Antione. Antione is no longer that caliber player that will get that sort of media circus and while Darrent's case is really a tradgedy and i hope those that are left find some measure of justice. I think It's better Darrent's case is under the radar cause without the circus to follow maybe something will get done faster and better.

I'm more interested in seeing things play out in a court of law before making any real judgements. I will say that things really don't look good for Vick.
