The defense hardly made any plays. To me there was only one that stood out that gave the team some light to pulling off a win. That was Brice Mccain's tipped pass at the goal line.

Don't get me wrong, our defense makes me sick to my stomach but we won today so I had to find something positive.

I gotta say it was Amobi's sack...

Awww....c'mon guys - that's positive talk. You're only setting yourselves up for attack on this forum.

The defense admittedly sucked, but at some key points, they did what they needed to do. In this game, the offense pretty much carried them along for the win. Guess what? That's what successful teams do. Apologies in advance to the people who wish/think we should be 2-4.

um, i have to say that 3rd down, when they failed to convert and the texans scored the game winning touchdown.

It would have to be Wilson's play on 3rd Down, as that's the only defensive play we made of the game.

    Smith played really well again.

He is one FA signing that has worked out for us.

Cushing had some good rushes on Cassel where he threw up some lame floaters.
I would really like it if we rushed Diles instead of Cushing. Diles brings nothing to the pass defense. He can't cover, he looks confused, and he often falls down for no apparent reason.

No. He pressured him real good but he didn't make that play. The big fat zero in Am0bi did. Give credit where it's due.

Exactly! Smith flushed Cassell out of the pocket, but it was Amobi that ran him down and prevented the pass.

Sadly, Diles brings less to a blitz. He stops to ask directions. Very bad blitzer.

That's right. In fact, Smith blew the sack. If Am0bi had not been there to mop it up, there's no telling at could have happened. Maybe Cassel buys himself a whole dimension of time bcause I didn't see a single other Texans player within eyesight.

The Texans lack a balls out blitzer. Period.

Yep. Cushing is a decent blitzer, but the up the middle guy to shock you with a sack or hit as you throw guy is invisible.

It was the game saving read/play by Wilson. I'm not sure Nolan would have read that play and ran against the grain of the play. Wilson sniffed it out easily.

If I were a Chief fan, I would be KILLING Weis/Haley for getting cute at a critical point in the game. Imagine if Kubiak pulled that stunt....haha.
