Congrats Lil' Dre! Hey Matt? Target him more often and not just in the last few minutes. Ok?

Not to take away from Schaub thread but this is another thing that Kubes should be hammering on. You draft the guy to take pressure off AJ and then seldom throw him the ball.

Schaub only looks for Hopkins if AJ isn't in the game, so he'll probably finish with around 500 yards receiving this year. He stares down AJ so much it's the only reason any number two could not thrive in this offense.

imagine if he actually had a real quarterback who can get him the ball on a consistent basis.

Imagine a real game plan/offensive system that makes use of all of the weapons. Oh yeah, those would be in Denver, New England and New Orleans. No losses between those 3.

Kubiak is extremely anal in keeping his running game and passing game looking the same, post-snap. This would be OK if he wasn't so anal on the QB progression: AJ, TE, RB, AJ/TE/sack/int/pick6(not in any particular order).

    Foster 22

What are you guys wanting in terms of distribution?

Where did you get these stats from?
BTW, they pretty well follow my post earlier, #9.\\

When did Hopkins miss on 9 targets? He has 20 catches, but I can only think of a few misconnections.

The box scores on Espn is the only place I could find them. It would follow your post if you removed Hopkins' targets

That's why I question. Hopkins didn't have a missed catch, that I can think of, going into last weekends game. He certainly wasn't targeted 9 times last week.

The box score has 5 rec 7 targets in San Diego, 7 rec 13 targets against the tacks, 6 rec 7 targets in Baltimore and 2 rec 3 targets against the hawks

I'm not sure if every box score is off or maybe it's your memory

Congrats to Hopkins. Hopefully he can continue to build on the good start. I would like to see more deep passes to him because of his ability to make circus plays.

I realize where your mix up is. A target doesn't have to be a catchable ball. So targets - rec doesn't equal drops, it could be but a target could be uncatchable

This. The pick-six that Schaub threw against Tennessee was a "target" for Hopkins.

Yeah. Hopkins non-catch against Seattle came on an overthrow where he didn't have a chance to make the play. The Tennessee game looks bad because of the pick-6 and he had a lot of jump balls in that game, some in the endzone.
