    If Hopkins is pissed about missing out that would say he's a "me, me, me" guy and I don't think he's like that.

    That one is close for me. Hopkins is a proven very good but in my book not dominant WR. JG is an unproven but looks like high ceiling QB. Both young, similar contract status. Seems pretty fair.

    I'd trade Hop straight up for Jimmy G yes. In a heartbeat with not a single hesitation. Liked Jimmy when he was coming out and really wanted us to take him. My only concern is will he get coached down. Not up, but down. I have no faith in this coaching staff to make a QB be his best.

    I don't trust any NE backups. Not one has proven to be starter material after leaving Belichick.
