He maybe worth looking at right now he backs up LT. I don't know how much money he'd cost us but he has worked out nicely as second RB in line to LT. He a great game last night for SD with one TD and 115 yards and also a 37 yard long run. He has just four seasons under his belt so he is still fresh. Just a thought.

We need a bigger back to compliment Slaton, not a smaller one.

I'd love to have Sproles. He's been known to tear up the Colts and he takes screen passes and makes a hell of a lot out of nothing, just like Slaton. I'm a bit afraid of the money he'll want though. Correll Buckhalter shouldn't be too expensive.

He knows how to play screens he'd be another weapon for Matt.

The article is a bit dated... afaik Brandon Jacobs has gone over the 1000 yard mark this season

Buckhalter reminds me of Chris Brown.

Chris Brown should be done and Buckhalter is still playing and he isn't going to be doing the bulk of the running.

What do you see in Buckhalter that makes you think he'd fit here?

He was banged up by injuries, but I think he's gone 2 or 3 years scratch free.

Only seen one game of Buckhalter this season and it was a good game for him.

Never thought I'd say this - but you know, Ricky Williams might be a perfect compliment to Slaton. He's big, he's a good short-yardage guy... and he should come relatively cheap. He's also got young legs for his age.

Of course, he has the character issues - and I think he's one strike away from a yearlong suspension.

Crazy. Never thought I would even consider that guy - but he's kept his nose clean in the biggest party-city in the NFL.
