Yeah, he blew it, but this mess was a team effort. There isn't a single player on this team that stood out tonight. Schaub wasn't sharp, the running game sucked, and Andre was quiet for the most part. Cushing was the closest until he failed to wrap up Chris Johnson.

2 weeks in a row he shanks relatively easy kicks to send the games to OT and both miss and really aren't all that close. That is BS. Once I can live with. Twice in a row? Kind of hard to swallow. I'm ready to look elsewhere and I have been a huge KB supporter, but I can't take this shit twice in a row. We've blown game after game at the end.

Boy he looks a lot like Brad Lidge right now. I am not as upset this week as I was last week because I was 80% sure Kris was going to miss that kick. A lot to like on this team but still a lot of holes unfortunately.

He has the unmistakable look of fear in his eyes. I saw it before the first miss and I saw it before the second one.

That's three in a row now.

    I think he's done.

    See bold.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one that had no confidence as they lined up for that kick. Hell, I'm not sure that they could have stopped the Tits if they had gotten the ball first anyway. D looked gassed at the end.

I was praying we would do a double move with Andre sometime during that drive and maybe take the ball out of Kris's hands (leg?) but just wasn't in the cards.

Yeah, he looked like even HE knew he was screwed while warming up on the sideline.

Some day we're going to be hot stuff. Hope I live to see it.

    Agreed.

I had little faith he would make that kick. KB gets the poof lion award for his effort tonight.:lion:

Ironically the lone criticism of his game, short kickoffs, has been pretty much completely remedied lately. So hes got that going for him.

matt schaub should of took that run to the opposite hash mark instead of STRAIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FIELD GOAL.

Kris Brown has turned into Brad Lidge. I have absolutely no confidence in him anymore. Not after these last two weeks.

What happened to the one guy we could always count on to come through for us with the game on the line? Some might say, "What about AJ?" but a lot of his success is highly dependent on how the QB is playing. 3 games ago I was confident that if we needed Kris Brown to make a FG with the game on the line he could make it. I thought he was the best kicker in the league. Now after these last 2 games I cant help but wonder what happened to the guy we used to call "Mr. Automatic". Brown cost us the win today, it would've been ugly but a win is a win. He went 1-3 with both misses under 50 yards.

As far as I am concerned, he cost us the Indy win as well, another game that would've been an ugly win but the kicker had a chance to put it into OT and failed to come through. I don't care who you are, if you cost us 2 wins in a row you need to be replaced.

I'm wondering if the open roof had anything to do with it. Indy had their roof open too. That said, i really wish we could've taken a shot at the end zone. I told my brother he was going to miss it right before he kicked it.
