Carr was in the top half of quarterbacks in the entire league last season. Yeah, that was just routine for Ryan Leaf and Heath Shuler.

Well to Carr's credit Leaf was a bigger one.

If I were the Texans, I would look for a new QB. 0 TD's, 3 Picks. Ouch...

So tell me, how do you think Byron Leftwich would play if he had an average of about 1.5 seconds every time he went back in the pocket?

Carr's career resembles Tim Couch more than Leaf or Shuler.

Three step drop is not the answer. Step in the pocket Dave and trust the routes your receivers run.

    I don't know. But Leftwich had 2 TD's , 0 INT's today in a win...

"Bust" is probably not accurate but I'd certainly consider benching him for a few games and see what happens. This is not a playoff season so experimenting is ok.

Its the beef up front. I think if Carr had more time, he could show what he can do. When you are constantly running from defenders, it is hard to be a QB. This was a bad game all the way around. The honeymoon is over guys!! I want results. I love the Texans, but this is just plain bad.

david lovers will always blame the O-line but remember david is a nobody who had a great season in the WAC conference thats why we got him he'll never be a good QB at best hell be a good clipboard holder.

Hello Texan fans. Hopefully you all remember me as a Jaguar fan who is not and never was here to bash.

Anyway, the point of todays game was this: It all begins up front. I know, for a fact that the Texans possess an extremely potent arsenal of wide recievers and their defense can play up to par. But with the offensive line and Carr, there are immense problems.

Did the O line stay in Houston. They were in Carr's face every play, all day.

There is not a QB living or dead that could have done any better. Hell Carr didn't have time to blink much less look for a reciever!!!!!!!!

We have 1 WR and a decent running back and that is it.

It sucks that the team cannot protect their franchise, a guy who you can see has the tangibles to have success in this league.

Do you have our offensive line? Did you play on the road? Did you play the second best defense in the league? The answer to all of those is no, so it's totally irrelevant.

    Next.
