Only 33 receptions, 7 starts and 2 TD's.
I didnt realize he was hurt that much of the season.
the way he started the season he would of passesd 1700 yards without a doubt. it was the best start of his career. he has plenty left in the tank.
Dre is Dre and Innegan is the rest of the league in 2012
This alone solidified my love for AJ!!! (And of course every other reciever that faced Innegan)... Innegan = Douche.bag
I remember reading on Tinnbred boards where they were tired of Innegan's act.
Yeah, there is a lot of doubt that he would have surpassed 1,700 yards even with a healthy Schaub. Sure, it would have been possible with AJ, but he has never done that before and very few WR's have ever gone over 1,600 yards much less 1,700 yards. No way in hell he would have done that with TJ Yates starting as many times as he did. That isn't even realistic considering the stats that Yates was capable of putting up as a first year starter.
Great to see AJ make it high on that list again though. He deserves it, and obviously other NFL players still respect him as the beast that he is.
I'm simply saying that he was on pace to hit over 1700 and that he was having the best start of his career, which he was.
Not so fast I did the math using his first three games stats and he was on pace for this
But still that would've been his greatest ever season I think and one of the best seasons in this century.
So now we don't care that an injured guy made the list?
OK, so AJ is now 31 years old, right? How many double digit TD seasons will he finish his career with? Right now he has zero.
I don't disagree. I love me some AJ, he's one of my favorite Texans. It is supposed to be ranked based on if you were drafting a team today who would you pick? I would still take AJ coming off injury and at 31 years old, but I would take Foster first because of his youth and he's just getting started. Ray Lewis? I would barely keep in the 100 and mostly for his leadership, he's very long in the tooth. No doubt the ranking is more repped based than anything, and since that is the way it really is ranked (instead of going by the criteria they say it's based on) I like AJ being ranked this high.
It's a travesty that Duane Brown didn't even make the list! C'mon man.
Ray Lewis is still one of the best LB's in the NFL.
Yes, and going on 15 seasons the man still BRINGS IT. That's a tuff mutha.
Oh.... now we agree with the "Top 100"
I guess, .....but I didn't state that either way.
I said based on THEIR criteria for the rankings, which is if you were drafting a team today, who would you take?. I would not take a 37 year old linebacker at the end of his career, no matter how illustrious. That's just me though.
Yeah I saw that. I will Happy Ending all over my house if we win the Superbowl this year.
Unfortunately, Andre's window is closing. Let's get this guy a Championship, NOW!!! If anyone deserves one, AJ does.
#Long Live the BEAST!!!
Agreed! This is the time! This is the team (if healthy) to do it!
