NEW ORLEANS (May 28, 2007) -- New England Patriots player Marquise Hill was reported missing following a jetski accident on Lake Pontchartrain, where U.S. Coast Guard rescue crews were searching for him.

I hope he is found alive and well

    How sad. :(

This could have been easily prevented, too.

I also think jet ski use is banned by most NFL contracts, just like motorcycles.

A body believed to be New England Patriots player Marquise Hill was found by searchers today, a day after he was reported missing following a jetski accident on Lake Pontchartrain.

"The family will have to make positive identification," Capt. Brian Clark of the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Department said, "But the body we found was that of Mr. Marquise Hill." The body was discovered about a quarter-mile from where Hill and a female companion were involved in the accident, Clark said.

Rest in peace, Marquise. You're a hero.

The woman said that Marquise saved her life. He fought the currents and dragged the woman to a buoy before being swept away as he got there. The woman watched him fight the forces. He just must have finally succumbed to exhaustion once she got on the buoy.

Woman? Marquise saved your life at the expense of his. Live a good life and remember Marquise Hill.

I just noticed this one and my stomach is now churning. A true hero = Marquise Hill.

It's really amazing how things can turn tragic so quickly. When we're young, we think that we're invincible. Life vests would have probably saved both of them.
    Too bad.
