    2. Andre Johnson, Houston: He's big and strong and fast. He doesn't get the due he deserves.

    5. Dunta Robinson, Houston: He doesn't get much attention because he plays on a dreadful team, but Robinson is legit. He's fast, physical, has good hands and reads well. He's also a hard worker. You will hear more of him if the Texans ever discover what it's like to have a winning season.

    4. DeMeco Ryans, Houston: I'm reluctant to put rookies in here, but this guy is too good to be left off any list. He led the Texans in tackles with 156, including 126 solos, and was the league's Defensive Rookie of the Year. He's physical, good at blitzing and airtight in coverage. Most important, he's productive.

I don't think Dunta should be in the top 5. He didn't have a great year last year and IMO did not play like an elite CB. I might put him in the top 10 but not top 5.

Well, I thik all of the rankings are on the generous side for the Texans.

Johnson does not make enough jaw dropping plays nor just totally takes over games to be ranked as the 2nd best WR. I think he at the top end of the 2nd cut of WRs which probably put him 8-10ish overalll.

Robinson is not beter than R. Mathis. Period.

As even Clark Judge admitted as well as Ryans played it is always tough to place a rookie with a very good year over guys who have played at high levels for awhile.

Maybe, but generosity is something the Texans players rarely receive in comparitive rankings to their peers so I'll take it.
But the only one that is blantantly out-of-line IMO is the one for AJ. Interestly he was probably the most impressive physical specimen in the league of all the WRs until Calvin Johnson entered the NFL this year, but my big complaint about AJ is his hands. He just drops far too many balls, and sometimes at the most critical time of a game.

hopefully with a better pass rush, better the corners look and better Demeco looks

and hopefully with a QB that can read a defense faster, the better decisions and the better AJ looks

I notice that certain publications list D-Rob as a top 5 corner. Not just this year, either.

I wouldn't have DROB in the top five. I would have him in the top ten though.

Not sure about Dunta in these rankings or Demeco, purely because he is a rookie and has to prove he can do it over a few seasons, but the Andre one I am happy with, the way I see it although he may not make the jaw dropping plays hes consistent, blocks well and isnt and arrogant player. Fair enough he doesnt get the same production other Recievers do, but that is purely because we are not a powerhouse (yet), put Andre in the Colts, Bengals or Patriots offences and you would all agree he is the 2nd best in the league.

I think this is alot on the ability of the guy should you plug him into a decent passing offence which hopefully we will be this year.
