Saw it on the newsticker scrolling on NFL Network. Think the Texans might bring him in? His NFL career has been plagued by injuries, but he's still young and if he can be had for vet minimum I think he'd be a great guy to bring in to battle for the backup RB job.

IF healthy he'd be the ideal compliment to Slaton, for vet minimum I think that he would be worth the risk. Worst case scenario he's Ahman Green without the paycheck, best case he's our thunder to go with the lightning we already have on the roster.

I don't know... the guy was awful last year. 2.6 yards per carry and a fumble every 20 times he touched the ball? Doesn't sound like a guy Kubiak would want..

True, but a change of scenery might do him a lot of good. The Bengals isn't really a good team environment, there is a lot of talent on that team not performing to its potential. Fumbling problems can be coached away; see: Tiki Barber.

I'm not saying he's the answer but I am saying that for vet minimum he's a low risk high reward type player that COULD be our thunder.

he has a worse injury history than chris Brown and at least with Brown there is some history of performance when healthy. If the brass think they can perform a miracle with guy then fine, but really not seeing much.

For league minimum to keep the wear off Slaton in camp... why not but don't expect miracles.

The Bengals are pretty limited in their running back stocks so to not want to keep him is a pretty bad sign.

Chris Perry was one of my favorite players from Michigan and he is a former Doak Walker Award winner. Now, after watching Ahman Greene ride the bench due to injuries there is no way we take Perry. Maybe a change of scenery well do him good and I hope it does but as for now I pass.
