We gave up 2 sacks against the Chiefs. The Bears gave up 3.

We gave up 3 points against the Chiefs. The Bears gave up 10.

I'm not sayin, I'm just sayin.

It's really hard to put this into perspective without getting all giddy.

    Another thing.

Denver hasn't looked like Denver since Kubiak came to Houston.

But Houston has looked like Denver when Kubiak came to Houston.

    :shades:

It was funny because the announcer from CBS called Houston Denver when he was talking about them. The other guy corrected him.:whip:

For some reason Kubiak reminds me of Jeff Fisher. When the Budster took his toys and left town the one regret I had as the years went by was that he'd finally hired a good head coach (out of blind dumb luck if you ask me. He was probably just trying to save money when he did it but anyway...) and that good head coach had guided them to the Super Bowl appearance that I felt was our (Houstonians) right. We'd done our time in hell watching them stumble around wasting talent and years with bad coaches. We'd done our time in hell watching them fail to assemble the necessary talent for good coaches. Finally they had a good coach and a talented team.

Kubiak is much like Fisher was (I believe). He's going to get it done and he's not wasting any time doing it. He's got these guys on the same page. He's got them ready to play. If they come to play against Indy this week then I'm going to be one happy fan regardless of the outcome. These guys are playing like a well coached team for the first time in franchise history.

I agree TK. I heard some talking heads talking about Cutler yesterday, saying how he's still making rookie mistakes. One of them pointed out how good of a QB coach Shanahan was and couldn't figure out why Cutler's still making those mistakes.

I was telling them it wasn't Shanahan, it was Kubiak. Come to find out, I was talking to the TV the whole time.:doot:
