Of course he had a head start. I know he might bother some but I love this guy. Video within.

"Johnson was spotted a 100-meter lead -- roughly about half the distance the horse had to cover in the race for charity. And when it was over, Johnson, as usual, was anything but humble. He sounded ready to take on boxing, basketball and NASCAR.

"Floyd Mayweather, you're next," Johnson said. "I want to fight you. I'd like to take Kobe and LeBron one-on-one. Jeff Gordon, we can take a couple laps. ... Now it's my time to take over the race world."

He's obviously a very gifted athlete, but how's he going to handle it when he gets beaten badly at something? I don't know this boxer he's talking about, but I'd say that's a really bad idea. Then there's karate, or is he just a little too smart to fight some 3rd degree black belt? Nobody is world class good at everything.

On the other hand, I do like the general idea of it. I like the humour in it, and the fact that he doesn't seem to take himself too seriously. What I don't like is the way he sounded in the video, like maybe he really is starting to get conceited. It wouldn't take too much of that to make me change my mind about him completely and resent all the attention seeking. If you can't continue to be humble about it, then you don't deserve your gifts--and I don't care how hard you worked for it.

I think it's great he's willing to do any and all of these things just to help out charities and give them recognition.....

    More power to him.

It's all an act. If you hear anybody talk that knows him, they all say that he is extremely nice. And you never hear of him beating his girlfriend or driving drunk. NFL has a bad rep right now so no news is good news.

I would have won that race with the head start he had.

From the video I think it would have been a damn close race with only a 25 yard advantage instead of the 100 he got .

At any rate , I think its pretty nice that he uses his celebrity status to help charity . I hope some of those people he "called out" take him up on his challenges , Kobe ? LeBron ? Floyd Mayweather ? Jeff Gordon ? ...... We're waiting .

I am a Bengals fan and pretty much everything Chad says should be taken as tongue-in-cheek.

Well, that's what everyone says, and I'm just going by a single video clip, so I'm sure you're right.
