Manning had asked for a trade or his release, but his contract made a trade unlikely.

He hasn't done really anything since he went from CAR to CHI starting only 11 games in two seasons, but he's not injured, he's 27, and he makes plays.

Any radio chatter about us going after him. ( I live in South Carolina)

Not sure if he is any different or better than Fletcher/Faggins. That said, I have seen worse ideas on this board.

He would not be more than a nickel......I think we have enough of them.

    Besides, remember:

Hey now!!! IHOP's chicken fried steak is a hell of a lot better than Denny's. Plus, IHOP had the stuffed french toast.

    You wanna fight over it?:lion:

Can we have one thread for all the players who are released that we might possibly be interested in? Because if we have a thread per player released, it could get messy quick.

Actually if you did that the thread could get messed up quickly.

I see where Chicago released defensive back Ricky Manning, Jr. As our secondary is not the greatest :scarygirl:, is there any talk of bringing him in? Thanks.:texflag:
