Per Glazer, Casserly isn't regarded as a serious candidate for the Giants job. Still, the mere fact that he's on the interview list will put him in play for other openings.

As a Giants fan I will take solice in this sentence.

I feel for you Hook'em, you seem to be in a never ending Casserly torture cycle. I will have to remember you in my prayers.

They mentioned this on the foxsports pregame show and all four of them were laughing about the fact that they interviewed him for this. :heh:

Casserly first acquisition as GM will be acquiring Babin for a second, third, and swapping Fourths.

I think you should want more than "not bad" in a #1 draft pick.

There are circumstances that make "not bad" pretty good.

I think people should have a little more patience when it's an accepted fact he might not put up 20 sacks in his first season. He's stuck through the season despite plantar fasciitis and forced the only turnover in the game yesterday to beat the Colts. The media can go to hell because I'm sick of them trashing our pick, team, and city and then pretending like we should feel a certain way about it just because they do. That goes for Justice and McClain too.

Watch him go to Detroit ... although I would love to see that little worm fry in the NY Post on a weekly basis.

I was disappointed to read that Casserly doesn't have a real shot. Not because I liked the guy (I don't), but because I don't like the Giants. Hopefully they screw up the interviews and hire Casserly thinking he's the right man for the job.

Casserly would make an excellent GM for the Giants. He drafted us and look at our careers.

    Sincerely,
