I know Shannon Casserly (his daughter) and she told me they were going to be moving soon.

I dont know what that means, but it sounds like from what she said that he is taking the NY job.

Just thought i'd share the inside info.

I believe you Jac! I have some inside contacts with different teams, and occaisionally we "regular" people or fans do get information before the likes of John Clayton and other media types. Keep diggin' and see what you can come up with. :yahoo:

I'm with you on this one Grid, I think he gets a raw deal on this board and is a reputable GM....

If McNair brings Reeves in to fill the GM role would that make us the Houston Broncos??

I dont see Reeves coming here. I think they were being honest when they repeated over and over that Reeves is not interested in being GM.

I wonder if we could pull Rich McKay from the Falcons. I like his track record.

What's the guys name that seems to follow Reeves around? I could see him as a replacement.

Doubt it. He is a rumored candidate for the NFL commissioner's job.

I'm with ya on that one. And it's so weird - the few people I know with giant houses - they're all couples who bought the house after their kids were grown and gone. It makes zero sense.

I can understand it somewhat.. I mean someday me and the wife want to build "our" house. Basicly she wants a room for her hobbies..i want a room for my hobbies.. and we wouldnt mind a couple of spare guest bedrooms. I want a library as well, and an office.. and she will probably want an office.

all in all.. that is about 8 rooms. We would want a master bath.. a guest bath.. a downstairs bath.. probably one more bath in a strategic spot for the offices and library..and id want a bath around my gameroom.

    so thats about 5 bathrooms.

8 rooms, 5 bathrooms. Big house... but I dont know how you would need 7 bathrooms.. i was being pretty flamboyant adding 5.

Casserly is not in control of the final choice for the position. There will be a vote. The vote has not taken place yet. Also, Casserly may be wanting to GTF out of Houston regardless of if he gets the job or not. It will not hurt him financally or his reputation. Most of his peers would agree bringing in Reeves before the end of the season was a slap in the face. Also, rich people sell there homes no matter how expensive if the profit is there....this is why they are rich to begin with.

NFL VP. He's trying to take Art Shell's old job.

I like his house. If I can raise $1,999,998.64 I might just buy it.

    2002
    2nd Jabar Gaffney - underperformer
2nd Chester Pitts - great pick
    3rd Fred Weary - underperformer
3rd Charles Hill - Total Bust

    2003
    2nd Bennie Joppru - Bust
    3rd Antwan Peek - underperformer
    3rd Seth Wand - underperformer
    3rd Dave Ragone - doesn't play

Supplemental pick - top pick in 2nd round Tony Hollings

    2004
    2nd 3rd & 4th Jason Babin - underperformer

    2005
    2nd & 3rd Phillip Buchanon

    ---------------------

I love Casserly in the draft as long as someone else handles all 2nd and 3rd round picks.

Nice list. I wonder what that list will look like after this coming season. I'm not saying you're wrong mind you, just that it's possible that it won't look all that grim. I'd say that this season I'm very interested to see if all these busts and underperformers stay the way they "are".

    2nd Jabar Gaffney - underperformer
In Philly I'll be wondering if he breaks out.

2nd Chester Pitts - great pick
Yep, that one was a winner.

    3rd Fred Weary - underperformer
So far but it looks like he's going to get his shot.

3rd Charles Hill - Total Bust
    Yeah he was.

    2003
    2nd Bennie Joppru - Bust
No way to forsee three straight years of injury

    3rd Antwan Peek - underperformer
As a pass rushing DE? We'll see.

    3rd Seth Wand - underperformer
Says Joe Pendry. The benching of Seth Wand left me scratching my head. Wonder what he'll be like under the current regime.

    3rd Dave Ragone - doesn't play
No he doesn't. I scratched my head at this pick when it was made and I'm still scratching my head over it. Nothing against Ragone or anything. Backup QB's are neat things to have when starters get hurt. I just didn't understand why we took one in the 3rd when we did.

Supplemental pick - top pick in 2nd round Tony Hollings
Probably playing dominos with Charles Hill somewhere.

    2004
    2nd 3rd & 4th Jason Babin - underperformer
Like Peek I'm curious to see if this changes when he goes back to his previous position.

    2005
    2nd & 3rd Phillip Buchanon
I expect improvement from Buchanon. Not Pro Bowl improvement but I think he'll look more like a corner in someone elses defense. He was a lousy fit in Fangio's defense, that's certain. He'll never be the shutdown hitter that we wanted but he'll pick off some passes (and give up some long passes) if he's allowed to play man to man.

its not like Casserly is the president of the US for christ's sake. i'm sure his daughter is allowed to talk about the families affairs in public.
