Season 1: David Carr showed that he had some promise and could be a great NFL QB... if not maybe even a Legend. How many guys do you know who could take 76 sacks and get back up after each one?
Season2: Stricken with injuries it was hard to tell if he could be a force. The season went desent for a two year expansion team.
Season3: The would-be legend became a mediocure QB with bad instincts for reading a defense. He couldn't put the numbers on the board, reverted to the side-arm sling he aquired in College, and forgot what a pocket was for.
Season4: After 2 games, mediocure became forgettable. Forgettable in the fact that after he leaves the Texans (and the NFL) I will hopefully forget his pollution of the game he left behind.
Do I even need to point out the obvious follies in the game today? The delay of game penalties (which rest solely on the back of the QB), over throwing recievers (especially in the endzone), should I go on? This team has fallen apart. Carr is no longer the 'great white hope'.
Again, I say Face It... This is a broken down Carr on the side of the road. Lets take it to the junk heap, have it scrapped. It's time for a new driver...

Come on 70% passing with no INTs is terrible.

We were only playing the number one defense in the league.

yeah, running out of bounds for a loss of yards, is SOOO intelligent.

fumbling the ball on the Texans 20 was BRILLIANT

time to send the Texans GoldenBoy Carr to the junk heap.

About as brilliant as AJ forgetting to bring his tools to the worksite.

Didn't you mean Carr wreck? Of course after today, reek might fit better.

Nothing screams success behind our Offensive Line more than "QB in a knee brace".

at least AJ has some tools to bring, the only thing Carr uses his head for is a helmet holder. The reason it takes so long to call a play into the huddle is because Carr has to wait for the echo between his ears to soften so he can understand the call.

I totally agree. I am telling anyone that will listen that it is time for David to go bye-bye! Banks and Ragone could do much better, but it would be nice to bring in a seasoned QB that still has a few great years left.

You guys are PATHETIC!!! Put yourself in HIS shoes and see how you feel!!!! How would YOU feel if you had a bushy haired freak running after you all day!! David got NO protection from that dude!!! D. Davis SUCKS when it comes to blocking! Put the blame where the blame belongs!! ON THE ENTIRE OFFENSE!!!!!!!!! AND the coaching staff!!

I agree Im sick of hearing it too SheTexan but what do you expect from people who dont know alot about the game they blame it on one person QB is always the big problem with people like this they cant see the whole picture( Oline , Coaching staff ) so just ignore them.

And who would that be te3564? The oline has been suspect from day one. It seems to me that management and coaching have failed this team.
