How is that possible? 31 years? How can you not have one, just one, kickoff return for a TD?

I guess we've been spoiled, even our back-up KR brought one back this year, on them no less.

Thanks for rubbing it in! We're just happy we finally got one. It only took 1,865 times do it, but we got the monkey off of our back.

I saw that stat last night and my jaw dropped. I couldn't believe that it has never been done before.
    Simply amazing.

front page of every paper in town, complete strangers talking to each other about it on the streets, dominated local talk radio...incredible. feels like Boston after the Red Sox won it all in '04.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they not too terribly long ago finally return a punt for a TD?

I could swear that they hadn't returned either up until even a few years back. They got the punt return and we're looking for the kickoff return to finally get off the skids....

    *EDIT*

Looks like the earliest I could see a punt return for a TD was 1996... so maybe 20 years to get the punt return and 30+ to get the kickoff return? Wow....

and remember....there were a LOT of kickoffs against these Buccaneers over the years. there was a 15-20 year period where they consistently had one of the worst defenses in the NFL.

Special teams were on top of their game I guess.

I don't know what's worse, our fans going crazy because of one kick return TD or the Dolphins for celebrating like they won the Superbowl.

Ouch. My vote goes for the phins though. Poor Ravens so close to assisting in helping them achieve true ineptitude and they had to go ruin it and let them win.

I know, I at least wanted it to last one more week so I could pray for an upset against the Patriots.

no point in being a fan if things like this and the Dolphins win don't get you extremely pumped up.
