Despite Kubiak and the offense trying to keep the Bengals in the game. This dude just single handedly closed out this game for us. On the last 2 Bengals drives he forced a fumble and made an awesome INT.

Props to Cushing and the D turning it on the 2nd half. Now if they can just figure out how to play both halves.

Responsible for pretty much all of our turnovers today if I'm not mistaken. What a beast. Def ROTY front-runner if he wasn't already.

At this point I would take Cushing over Ryans. However I am personally challenging Ryans to prove me wrong.

Tell ya what, we might have the best lb corps in the league very soon, with those two and Diles.

Tough to say. I'm proud to say we have one of the best linebacker crews in the league.

The game ball should go to Cushing. Great pick and great player. The guy just takes it on himself and makes plays.

I'll be the first to admit that I wanted Melauga instead of Cushing in the draft, but I didn't have a problem with the Texans getting a LB at all. I just thought Meleuga was the better player at the time. Well, now it's nice to see that I was probably wrong. Cushing is a total beast in every sense of the word. Love having that guy.

The complaints about Cushing were mostly injury related. He's six games into his rookie year and has already missed the preseason, and had another injury that had him listed as questionable for today. If he stays on the field it's a great pick. If he ends every season on injured reserve, not so much.

The guy is showing so many skills at a level few reach in their careers and he's doing it from day 1. 6 games does not a career make but there's little questioning his resume right now. So far he's shown pass rushing ability, run stopping ability to either sideline, jarring wrap up tackler, now throw in a pick for coverage and ball skills? Not even halfway through his rookie year and his impact is pushing the defense forward. Very impressed with him.

I gotta agree. I think most people knew he had the potential to be this dominant but were concerned with his ability to stay healthy.

I hope he continues to play this well and I hope he can stay on the field.

Just goes to show I don't know jack squat about assessing NFL-caliber talent.

I dreaded the idea of drafting Cushing. Was I ever wrong.

Dude is a freaking monster. He has changed this defense. He makes it better all the way around simply by being on the field.
