According to the Miami Herald theDolphins the dolphins are seeking to trade for a veteran corner, also they were gonna release former pro bowl LT Albert, but have since pulled back. Could a trade be in the works? Albert's salary is 8.8M against Joseph's 6M, Would work out for both teams. The Texans would have to replace Joseph with a draft pick or resign Bouye/another FA.

Albert was released by the Dolphins.
    No trade is necessary.

I knew there had to be a catch because LT is one of those positions where if you have a good player you aren't giving him up for basically at this point a 3rd CB.

LOL at 3rd CB. 3rd best in your opinion, fine. But not on the depth chart.

Even an injured Albert would be better than the turnstile we had at RT last year. I'd expect a team like Carolina to offer him more than we would; they have a desperate need for tackles.

We have one, they have none. Their need is desperate.

He was not released after all. Jags are trying to make a trade happen.

I just don't see the Texans trading Joseph, but that's just me.

I think it had more to do with the salary cap than value. When you look at the Dolphins depth chart, Albert's salary cap hit and the Adam Gase and Julius Thomas connection, it adds up and makes some sense.

If they feel they can move Tunsil from G to LT, and what CND said about his wrist is on their mind, it makes a lot of sense.
