    Mon, 20 Mar 2006 11:49:49 -0800

Vic Ketchman, of Jaguars.com reports OT Tony Boselli signed a one-year contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars and then formally retired as a member of the Jaguars. He will be the first inductee into a Jaguars "Ring of Honor" next fall, in a celebration at a home game to be selected.

    How lame.

Dude probably sold more jerseys in Houston, though. ;)

So many emotions, so much pain. Loved watching him play and now I would prefer never to hear or utter the guy's name again.

Actually he was our 1st year cheer leader. It makes sense, because he never played for us although I think he gave it his best shot. He has a lot of memories there and its only right. He was and is a great one....

It is a one day deal so he can retire a Jaguar.

Has there ever been another player to be drafted with the first pick in 2 different franchises?

Well I hope he didnt reinjure his shoulder signing that one day contract. Minus the whole Texans thing, he was probably the best lineman in the league when he played. Well worth the shot we took on him.

Well, if you remember, he was part of a deal to get two other Jaguars - Gary Walker and Seth Payne (IIRC). I think there was concern about his injury even before we picked him, but the other two players were worth it in the FO's eyes.
