first of all, one of you guys with the big tv's thats able to see the wr's run their patterns down field need to invite me over. that sure beats the heck out of my set up. my tv pretty much stays with the ball.
about the team, im starting to get a little worried(as most of us are). im not rdy to call for the coaches heads but im getting close. if capers wants to run the ball and win with defense he should not have drafted a qb then wr with his first 2 number 1 picks. since he went that direction he should have finished the job and got a few more solid offensive players. it seems right now we got half an offense and half a defense.
im not sure about carr. i know he doesnt have a lot of time to throw. but i dont know if he has anywhere to throw the ball. i do know that every pass he threw against the bills there were defenders all around. so either he finds the guy most covered and throws to him or there was not a lot of people open.
we need a few more weapons on each side of the ball. although the defense is closer than the offense to being good.
what worries me the most is the coaching philosiphy. it seems that our coaches or unable to adapt to unexpected events. if the game plan isnt working they keep trying it till the game is over. these guys dont do well if something unexpected comes up. just look at how poorly dom uses replay. or some very suspect clock managment over the years. it seems that dom is a planner. problem with that is you cant plan for every situation. dom needs a great o-line and a great defense and he would be a very solid coach. we dont have neither and he's not doing a good job of adapting to what we have.
hope he figures something out soon.
