capers was 18-46 in four seasons..
Kubiak is 17 - 24 partway through his third season as HC..
so far, the numbers tilt in kube's favor.

YUP, I just posted this in another thread.
Capers: 18-46 for .281 after 4 full seasons.
Kubiak: 17-24 for .414 in less than 3 full seasons.
it'd be cool if Kubiak could end up .713 considering how capers ended up.
Nice levity when levitiy is needed....
Kubiak all the way. Dom Capers gave me too many Jack Pardee flashbacks.
I agree! I used to call Pardee "The Great Spectator". Capers used to have the same look in his eyes. Ha, funny.
The 05 defense was terrible ,the worst in football. Richard Smith isnt that bad.
Capers is doing wonders over in NY
SUPERBOWL RING BITCHES !!!!!!!
i starting to think we should of kept him for a little longer

I fail to see how the last game last season was a gimmie game. Maybe you've forgotten how many of OUR starters were out of the game. There were a ton of them.
That said - it's too early to answer this. Capers has a longer resume. Kubiak hasn't even been a head coach for three seasons yet, and he inherited a total disaster.
from Wiki....
On January 23, 2006, the Miami Dolphins announced the hiring of Dom Capers as the team's defensive coordinator. There, he served as assistant head coach. With an annual salary of $2.6 million, Capers was the highest paid assistant coach in the NFL, alongside Washington Redskins assistant head coach Gregg Williams. On Thursday, January 3, 2008, Dom Capers was fired along with all offensive and defensive coaches. It was said that the new head coach may hire the assistants back.[1]
On January 29, 2008, Capers interviewed with the Dallas Cowboys for the vacant linebackers coach position. It is rumored that he was offered the defensive coordinator or defensive consultant position.[2]
On February 21, 2008, Dom Capers was hired by the Patriots as their secondary coach/special assistant, replacing Joel Collier.

It's a few up from yours.
well i dont know if it was capers i thought it was him didnt someone go to NY from here thats why they picked up Carr there has well because of some offensive cord or something there
Do your posts come with a decoder ring?
I don't know about Wade Phillips as dc, he has been a 3-4 guy all his coaching career and I just don't see us going back there with so much money invested in Mario as a de.

Capers had far less talent to deal with and Mike Vick comming out a year early kind of screwed the plan for the draft
Caserly's brilliant/idiotic picks (if they had been somewhat consistent it would have been better) never gave him a chance and the 2005 NFL Draft was awful
1. Carr (bust)
2. AJ (Pro Bowler)
3. Dunta
3.1 Babin (Bust)
4. TJ Bust
Kubes got this from Casserly:
5. Mario (beast)
5.2 DeMeco

That's the direction I was looking in when I started the thread. Capers pretty much sucked here but so did his talent. Kubiak is doing a little bit better but has much more talent on the team.
