Who do you feel are the best prospects still available on day 3 of the draft?
    Here's my list:

    1. DaRick Rogers-WR, an absolute steal for whoever takes him.
    2. Quinton Patton-WR, mid 2nd round talent and also a steal on day 3.
    3. Jesse Williams-DT, teams must be concerned about his knee injury.
    4. Cornelius Washington-OLB, lots of potential and good value on day 3.
    5. Alex Okafor-DE/OLB, I don't understand his fall either.
    6. Jordan Poyer-CB, I thought he'd be gone by now as well, good value.
    7. Barrett Jones-OL, very versatile O-lineman and good value on day 3.

There are many other. Let's see your list, and anyone have explanations for why these guys have fallen?

Matt Barkley-QB, the ultimate example of why you leave when your stock is high. Goes back has a solid season but has his game picked apart and falls like a rock. If he makes it to us i would hope we take him. Too much value.

Also consider- Tyler Wilson, Tyler Bray, Matt Scott

Marcus Lattimore-RB, the injuries are causing the drop that's understandable but he could have been a 1st rounder if healthy. He's a special talent

Also consider- Johnathan Franklin, Mike Gillisle, Kenjon Barner

Agree on WR Rogers if he stays out of trouble he's an awesome player.

Also consider- Quinton Patton, Ryan Swope

I hope they take a NT and a CB next.

I don't think they believe NT is a need. I would be shocked if the next three picks didn't include a TE (perhaps two, no kidding!) and a LB.

Although I am good with taking a CB next (you can never have enough good DBs and they can at least play some STs) as bpa - why do you specifically want this position? We have 3 quality starters in JoJo, KJ and McCain and we have promising depth in Harris and Carmichael.

I think we have bigger question marks elsewhere, ILB comes to mind. Or even a TE...

I'm thinking the Texans will go all defense the rest of the way, but wouldn't be surprised if they took another WR as well. I can't understand the fall of DaRick Rogers-WR. I don't think it's because of his failed drug tests at Tenn. because he cleaned up and has done all the right things since. If he's there for us in the 4th, regardless of other needs, I think you have to take him, he's just to good of a value to turn down and he would add tremendous depth to our weak WR corp.

There is simply no way the Texans pass up drafting Tight End. It is a legitimate need and Kubiak still runs the team. We got get the 1-2 punch in the 6th round like the '09 (Hill, Casey) double feature.

They might make good on the Reed's move to ILB.
Teams always carry at least 6 CBs, I believe.
And Jesse Wiliams will help somebody get free in one-on-one opportunities.

I actually like our WR depth right now:

AJ and Hopkins should start. Posey will be back later in the year and looked promising. Martin showed flashes at times, with a year under his belt and another training camp he should take the next step - and Jean showed a lot of potential as well. That`s 5 guys right here that should all contribute.

Like I said, there are major question marks at ILB and TE - so either go bpa now or I would adress those needs first...

David Quessenberry (OG/C - San Jose St.) and Jonathan Franklin (RB - UCLA) are two guy who really stick out to me. Both guys have immediate starting potential and are still available.

Nassib- Best QB still available IMO mobile, gamer, good arm, and digested a new playbook this year. Why dropped, just a weak QB class as a whole and real value of this draft has been at less glamorous positions.

Barkley - Not so much best still available more as surprised. Why? Shoulder injury and you have to think the real lack of NFL production by USC quarterbacks is catching up with him. Also doesn't have arm strength you would like.

IMO bottom line with QBs left someone is going to start a run on QBS and it could start at the top of the 4th. I'd really love for this team to take one Either Wilson or I'd love for them to gamble on Bray.

    Lattimore- Injury obviously.

Stefan Taylor- Would love to take him 4th or 5th and a one two punch at RB. Just teams are taking the better value at different positions.

Alex Okafor - Motor questions IMO.

Denard Robinson WR/RB/football player is the kind of guy NE would grab and just put on the field to make plays. If this kid is there with HOU 6th rounder they should grab him.

I hope we make a move up in the 4th to grab either Jesse Williams, or Kaseem Greene. Greene would be an excellent ILB for us. I think he can be a three down backer next to Cushing.
